Extra information on customed packaging

This is just some of the extra information on the "not so common" packaging..

Custom Crates
Crate box, often made of wood, are usually customed to transport large, heavy or awkward items which cannot fit well in the containers.

Crates can be made of wood, plastic, metal or other materials. Most plastic crates are smaller and are more commonly called a case or container. Metal crates are hardly used because of its weight.

Vacuum Packing
Vacuum Packing (also known as Barrier Bag Packing) is a water vapor-proof enclosure. This is accomplished by first cushioning all sharp protrusions on the item being packaged. Next the product will be wrapped with desiccant bags containing silica gel or clay. The desiccant absorbs moisture from the air that is trapped in the voids of the unit itself and helps to maintain a 20 to 30 percent of humidity factor for a period of 18 to 24 months within the desiccant bag. Once the desiccant has been placed inside the foil barrier all seams are hermetically sealed and excess air is evacuated with the use of a vacuum prior to the final seal.
